Ways To Give

There are TONS of ways to give and get involved at the Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation!

KFF is a 501(c)3 Charitable Organization. Donations made to KFF may be tax deductible!

Special Projects

The Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation is always working to fulfill our purpose of furthering the renovation, construction, preservation and beautification of the Kansas State Fairgrounds. This means that we regularly have large and exciting projects in the works. Our highest priority project at the moment is the Capper Project. We also have the Bison Building Ag Innovation Center and the Foundation Event Center coming up as well.

Bricks are still available for the Capper Project! Buy a brick in the walk-through park which tells the story of Arthur Capper and Cooperatives in the United States. (Approximately 1000 bricks available.)

$1000 – 8×8 logo brick

$500 – 8×8 with up to 6 lines of copy

$250 – 4×8 3 lines of copy

Location and size of bricks will vary depending on donation level towards the Capper Project. All fundraising options are available for cooperatives, organizations, businesses, and individuals to participate.

Foundation Benches

Foundation Benches are a beautiful way to pay tribute towards a loved one. A tribute doesn’t always require a loss of life. While it is wonderful to memorialize your loved ones, sometimes it’s great to appreciate the life of someone still with us, including for an anniversary, a birthday, or even a celebration for new beginnings. Just like the Fair, these benches serve as a reminder that the best memories are shared.

Boots and Bling

Boots and Bling is the signature event of the Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation and has developed the reputation for being the best FUNdraising party in Kansas. Held annually in August, it is filled with music, fun, live and silent auction opportunities, and great food and drinks! You can join the party – all in your cowboys Boots with a little Bling!

Table sponsorships have sold out quick each year, so be sure to reserve your table today so that you don’t miss out on all the fun! GEM level sponsorships are also available.

T.A.G. 2023: Together Achieving Greatness

The Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation T.A.G. Team Program wants to bring like-minded, Fair-loving individuals together to accomplish small renovation projects on the historic Kansas State Fairgrounds.

The goal for 2023 is to engage 500 donors to make an immediate, positive and direct impact by tackling the renovation of the Fountain House located next to the Lair-Steckline Interactive Water Fountain. For a minimum $250 donation, the first 500 supporters will be accepted into this unique group. It is a simple concept: Together we can Achieve Greatness, creatively establishing the 2023 T.A.G. Team!

Most Needed Donation

The Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation provides support to numerous and various projects on the Kansas State Fairgrounds each year. To provide general support for the Foundation and allow your donation to be used where most needed.

Grow the Fair

Legacy/Planned Giving

The Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation is working to establish endowment funds to provide for ongoing financial support of the Kansas State Fair. Established endowments grow over time and provide for permanent funding that enables more effective strategic planning for the future and ensures that the Kansas State Fair infrastructure will be maintained and improved for generations to come.

Anyone can contribute to the Grow the Fair endowed funds with a gift of any size. There are many ways to make a gift, including:

  • Cash
  • Bequest in will
  • Outright gift of stock and/or real estate
  • Life income gifts
  • Gifts of life insurance
  • Gifts of retirement assets

A charitable bequest in a will is the most common gift as it is flexible, revocable and allows you to control your assets during your lifetime. Annuities and certain trusts can provide an income stream plus tax benefits, as can a gift that provides current income from the endowment fund while preserving your estate’s value for heirs.

We encourage you to seek the advice of a financial planning advisor before making any decisions about your estate. The Kansas Fairgrounds Foundation staff is also available to answer any questions. Please email info@KansasSFF.org for more information.
